In contrast, Pure Pharma Grade Dimethyl Sulfoxide is meticulously distilled and purified to remove DMS and any other contaminants, leaving it completely odorless.

The Toxicological aspects of DMSO have been extensively studied over a prolonged period, and it has been concluded to pose a very low toxicity hazard to both humans and animals. It is important to note that the presence of water as a cosolvent in DMSO can significantly lower the penetration kinetics.
