Crafted from 99.9% DMSO and distilled water (bi-demineralized), this solution is 70% DMSO. With a relatively high freezing point of 18.5 °C (65.3 °F), 99.9% pure DMSO can exist in either a liquid or solid/crystal state of matter, transitioning from solid to liquid above room temperature.

In the event of DMSO entering a solid/crystal state, it can be liquefied by placing it in a wide container or pot filled with hot (not boiled) water, and then covering the container if possible. The water level should not exceed the neck of the bottle. After 30-60 minutes, the hot water should be replaced to maintain the melting process. Once liquefied, the DMSO can be stored at room temperature above its melting point or placed on a heater overnight.

DMSO has been utilized for over a century in the United States. As a natural substance derived from wood pulp, it is considered harmless when used with the proper precautions.
